Dr. Karmaveer Bhaurao Patil. He spent major part of his life in uplifting the downtrodden and lower classes. He put faith only in hard work and tried to unlock the boundaries of education for those masses of the society who were not to able to fulfill their daily needs due to the restrictions imposed upon them. Today Rayat Shikshan Sanstha impart knowledge from K.G. to P.G. in twelve district of Maharashtra and has spread in the neighboring state of Karnataka also.

This college was established in the year 1970 within the span of thirty eight years it has grown up into a big tower of knowledge. It is the peak of its achievements. We are proud to mention that this institution has taken task to provide higher education to thousands of students specifically from rural areas of Panvel, Uran, Khalapur taluka and of Navi Mumbai.

The College has Junior college, Senior College, M.C.V.C. and post graduation courses framed according to the needs of young generation. The college is situated in Hilly area with natural beauty nearly 3-4K.M. away from Panvel city. Presently over 3000 students are taking there education in our oldest institution of Panvel Taluka. Recently National Assessment and accreditation council, Banglore awarded B+ grade to our college. It is prestigious to mention that our college was second college of Rayat Shikshan Sanstha and first in the raigad district to under go NAAC accreditation.

We are also glad to mention that the present institution has maintained a pristine purity and sanctity and has thus raised high the banner of our Sanstha that always tries to bring about the all round development of the students.

Rayat Shikshan Sanstha is a biggest educational institution in Asia today it has 672 branches which includes senior colleges, junior colleges at secondary, primary schools and Agricultural schools technical schools, ITI, Asharam Shala (Residential Schools), B.Ed. And D.Ed. Schools, Engineering College and boarding schools. There are 17,000 staff members presently working in different branches of Sanstha approx. 4.5 Lacks students are learning in different disciplines in Rayat Shikshan Sanstha per year.
